An Application of Ergodic Markov Chain to the Process of Teaching Mathematics
Original Research
The principles of social constructivism for learning have become very popular in the recent decades for teaching mathematics. In the present paper a mathematical representation is created of the process of teaching mathematics (based on those principles) by applying an ergodic Markov chain on its steps. This enables the instructor to evaluate the student difficulties in the classroom and therefore to reorganize his (her) plans for teaching the same subject in future. A classroom application to teaching the Conic Sections to engineering students is also presented illustrating the usefulness of our Markov chain model in practice.

Exponentiated Gumbel Exponential Distribution: Properties and Applications
Original Research
In this article, we proposed a new distribution called exponentiated Gumbel exponential (EGuE) distribution. The new distribution is a member of the T-X family obtained through the logit transformation of the exponential random variable, using the exponentiated Gumbel distribution as the generator. The mathematical properties of the proposed distribution were studied. The maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters of the EGuE distribution were derived. The applicability of the new distribution is shown using a real data set.

Optimal Design of Step Stress Partially Accelerated Life Test under Progressive Type-II Censored Data with Random Removal for Inverse Lomax Distribution
Original Research
Step Stress-Partially Accelerated Life Test SS-PALT under Type-II progressive censoring with Binomial or uniform removal assuming Inverse Lomax distribution has been presented. A comparison between both removals is shown. The Newton-Raphson method is applied to obtain maximum likelihood estimators MLE of the parameters and the optimal stress-change time which minimizes the generalized asymptotic variance. A simulation study is performed to illustrate the statistical properties of the parameters.

Properties of a Certain Class of Meromorphic Analytic Functions Defined by a Linear Operator
Original Research
In this present paper, we introduced and characterized a new class of meromorphic univalent functions associated with polylogarithm by investigating; coefficient inequality, convolutions property, integral means and other properties of the class.

Analysis of Suspects of Terrorist Incidents by Unknown Perpetrator
Original Research
Terrorism is a common threat to humanity. An in-depth analysis of data related to terrorist attacks provides a deeper knowledge of terrorism that is valuable to counter-terrorism. In this paper, we analyzed the terrorist incident data in the United States in 1998-2017. Through cluster analysis, we speculated the possible suspects of terrorist incidents by unknown perpetrators and analyzed the credibility of those results.
