Generalized Random Coefficient Estimators of Panel Data Models: Asymptotic and Small Sample Properties
Original Research
This paper provides a generalized model for the random-coefficients panel data model where the errors are cross-sectional heteroskedastic and contemporaneously correlated as well as with the first-order autocorrelation of the time series errors. Of course, the conventional estimators, which used in standard random-coefficients panel data model, are not suitable for the generalized model. Therefore, the suitable estimator for this model and other alternative estimators have been provided and examined in this paper. Moreover, the efficiency comparisons for these estimators have been carried out in small samples and also we examine the asymptotic distributions of them. The Monte Carlo simulation study indicates that the new estimators are more reliable (more efficient) than the conventional estimators in small samples.

A Common Fixed Point Result in Ordered Complete Cone Metric Spaces
Original Research
In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for ordered contractions in ordered cone metric spaces without using the continuity. Our result generalizes some recent results existing in the references.

Solving the Laplace’s Equation by the FDM and BEM Using Mixed Boundary Conditions
Original Research
This paper presents to solve the Laplace’s equation by two methods i.e. the finite difference method (FDM) and the boundary element method (BEM). The body is ellipse and boundary conditions are mixed. In the BEM, the integration domain needs to be discretized into small elements. The boundary integral equation derived using Green’s theorem by applying Green’s identity for any point in the surface. The methods are applied to examine an example of square domain with mixed boundary condition. Both types of numerical models are computed and compared with analytical solution. The results obtained agree perfectly with those obtained from exact solution.

Statistical Analytical Study of Traffic Accidents and Violations in the State of Kuwait and Its Social and Economic Impact on the Kuwaiti Society
Original Research
Traffic accidents and their effects become one of the most important and dangerous challenges facing the community and individuals in their daily lives in the modern age, and because of the resulting deaths, reaching nearly one million and three hundred thousand cases a year and various dangerous injuries close to the fifty million cases taking into account their different consequences on the social and economic life, this is in addition to traffic violations and their impact on traffic and community public safety. Therefore, this research aims to analytical study of traffic accidents and traffic violations committed by the driver in the State of Kuwait through the study of the number of vehicles and accidents, injuries and deaths that result from these accidents in addition to the number of violations that are continuously growing and the amounts collected from committing such violations and study the relationship between them through its adaptation to some of the different statistical models and appropriate probability distributions for forecasting the coming years. The study also aims to identify the social and economic effects on the Kuwaiti society, as well as the role of government and institutions to reduce these repeated accidents and violations through the development of laws, policies and rehabilitation programs, which include some of the behavioral aspects and the process of rehabilitation and reduce the aggravation of these dangerous phenomena and costly burdens in the human life and stability in the community enjoying traffic public safety.
